A FAST food outlet in St Austell is set for a new look.

The KFC restaurant on Pentewan Road is planning to have the latest brand designs.

The fried chicken chain has submitted a planning application to Cornwall Council covering new entrance doors, redecoration and a new path. There would be new internally-illuminated letters, a new “Colonel” box sign, new vinyl graphics and other new signs.

The council has been told: “It is proposed to carry out an internal and external refurbishment to this existing KFC restaurant. The works are led by KFC in updating the existing unit to suit the latest KFC designs.”
