A prominent Newquay hotel has plans brewing to raise funds for charity.
The Headland Hotel will be staging a McMillan's World's Biggest Coffee Morning at the Terrace with the help of Thursday Club members on Friday, September 27 at 9am.
A Headland spokesperson said: “Every year, coffee morning events unite communities from all corners of the UK in a warm and inviting atmosphere, where people come together to enjoy delicious food and drink while making a meaningful difference.
“This gathering is more than just a chance to indulge in sweet treats; it’s an opportunity to support those living with cancer and to contribute to the vital services they rely on.
“Join us at The Terrace for McMillan's World's Biggest Coffee Morning.
“From 9am the Thursday Club ladies will be ready to welcome you with an array of home-baked sweet treats.
“Every penny of the profits will be donated to Douglas McMillan, a charity that plays a crucial role in providing care and support to those affected by cancer.
“This event is a wonderful opportunity to connect with friends, family, and members of the community, all while contributing to a cause that touches the lives of so many.
“Let's make this coffee morning the biggest and best yet.”
