A harvest festival will be held at the historic Gwennap Pit, near Redruth, on Sunday, August 11, at 3pm.

Worship will be led by the Rev Jane Willcock and St Paul’s Singers will be taking part. Cups of tea will be served after the service.

Part of the Cornish and West Devon World Mining Heritage Site, Gwennap Pit is famous for its association with Methodist founder John Wesley who preached there on 18 occasions.

Everyone is welcome and off-road parking is available.
