A DAY packed with fun activities and community spirit is on the cards when Redruth Fun Day returns to Victoria Park on Sunday, August 25.

Taking place from 11am to 3pm, visitors will be able to explore a diverse range of activities, indulge their taste buds at food vendors, browse craft stalls and unleash their competitive spirit in a range of competitions.

Kids can transform into their favourite character with creative face painting, while lots of games and pop-up equipment will be present for families to play with.

Live performances from the talented Redruth Town Band and other local music groups are sure to enhance the atmosphere at the event.

A fun dog show is being organised by Cornish dog welfare charity K9 Crusaders where prizes will be handed out to talented pooches.

Spectators will be able to watch captivating performances by a local Judo group and support local charities by having the chance to purchase goods on sale and speak to team members to learn about their missions.

Visitors can savour delicious food from local vendors, offering a variety of cuisines, while those with a sweet tooth can indulge in sweets, candyfloss, fudge, cookies, other homemade baked goods and ice cream.
