Firefighters were scrambled after a fire was started at a Newquay property on Friday after tea towels caught alight.
Two appliances from Newquay attended a call to smoke coming from a property in Berry Road at 5.45pm.
Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel, one covering jet to extinguish the fire involving tea towels. Once the fire was out crews used a PPV fan to clear smoke from the property.
