A ‘HYMNFEST’ in St Austell has raised £1,000 to be shared between two charities.
The event was held at St John’s with Trinity Methodist Church in the centre of the town as part of its 196th chapel anniversary.
Roche Band accompanied the St Austell Methodist Church Choir during the evening which was inspired by Norman Every from Wadebridge and organised by the Rev Paul Benney and John Keast from the church.
The money raised at the event will be split between Mount Edgcumbe Hospice, run by Cornwall Hospice Care on Porthpean Road in St Austell, and the Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust.
