PROJECT Eighty Three in Newquay will play host to a classic motorcycle meet up in support of Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW).
The motorcycles will gather between 11am and 4pm on Saturday, August 24. Those wishing to show their classic motorcycles are being advised to arrive at 9.30am, there is no pre-registration required for the event and indoor space for display of motorbikes is on a first come first served basis.
There will be music from the Newquay Rowing Club Singers and various vendors will be serving street food, catering to all dietary requirements. The event is dog and family friendly, with parking available on St Georges Road and using Newquay Park and Ride is also encouraged.
Area fundraiser for CHSW, Alice Merrett, said: “The event is going ahead rain or shine, so if you have a fabulous motorcycle, please come down and show it off while also showing support for a important local charity!”
Children’s Hospice South West has three hospices across the South West, Little Bridge House in Devon, Charlton Farm in North Somerset and Little Harbour in St Austell. The charity currently supports more than 500 families with a child or young person with a life limiting condition.
