THE city streets enjoyed packed crowds on Sunday as the Truro Classic Car Show took place in basking sunshine.
The event has gone up a gear this year with the help of space being opened up on Lemon and Boscawen Street, enabling a bigger and wider selection of exhibitors who showcased their cars to the public who turned up in their droves.
From 1920’s vintage vehicles to new machines supplied by local dealerships, the show allowed enthusiasts to see a wide range of cars in a bustling city centre under the backdrop of live music throughout the day.
Plenty of automobilia and autojumble stalls enhanced this hive of activity, as visitors spent the day gazing at the cherished classics on display from legendary marques including Ferrari, Porsche, Aston Martin, Lotus and Maserati to name a few. Motorcycles were also present at the event which was organised by Truro BID.
Alun Jones, Truro BID manager said: “We were delighted with the turn out and it was great to see so many residents and visitors enjoying the much-loved vehicles on display across the city. A big thank you to all the exhibitors who brought their vehicles to show, our sponsor Coodes Solicitors and to everyone who came along.”
