THE historic grounds at Wheal Martyn Clay Works in St Austell are set to host a classic car rally on Sunday, September 22.

Taking place between 10am to 4pm, classic vehicle owners are encouraged to display their cherished car at the grounds for visitors to look around and enjoy walking around the beloved vehicles.

The event is part of Wheal Martyn’s fundraising programme for the museum, with entrance fees supporting the work of the charity. The café will also be open and offering home-made cakes and lunches.
