Visitors to Bodmin’s parish church have been left full of festive wonder and delight.

St Petroc’s is staging its annual Christmas Tree Festival.

Words of wonder and delight expressed by visitors as they immerge from a sparkling archway have included: “amazing”, “very impressive” and “we weren’t expecting that”.

The archway sits alongside the traditional features of the festival which takes in garlands, twinkling lights, a Santa, festive carol singer figurines, a market stall, a nativity scene and trees decorated by community and church groups, charities, and businesses.

The festival is open 10.30am to 4.30pm until Saturday. There will be tree viewing only from December 19 to 26.
