Brave people had a refreshing start to the New Year after taking part in an annual charity dip in Newquay.

Hundreds of men, women and children took the plunge to participate in the Dip for CLIC at the harbour.

Many wore their fanciest fancy dress for the occasion. Thousands of watched from the quayside and every vantage point to cheer on the dippers.

So far more than £4,000 has been raised following the event in aid of Young Lives vs Cancer.
