The Cornerstone at St Ives Library and Visitor Information is set to host a diverse range of literary events programmed to inspire and engage this September.

Poetry enthusiasts can immerse themselves in readings by the acclaimed poet Katrina Naomi and participate in workshops led by St Ives poets Ivor Franklin and Stephen Bales.

Dr Paul Taylor-McCartney from Cornish publisher Hermitage Press and local authors Clare Howdle, Jane Pugh and Gareth Rees will be having a discussion about the challenges, joys and purpose of producing Twelve Stories for Twelve Sections, a new anthology of stories for the Cornwall National Landscape.

Aspiring writers may be interested in creative writing sessions which offer an opportunity to hone their craft, while literature lovers can enjoy an exclusive author talk with Lindsay Ashford, the bestselling author of The Woman on the Orient Express.

If photos more than words are your thing, photography aficionados can also take part in a Photography 101 workshop to sharpen and focus skills.
