The Fowey Art Trail will be showcasing talented local artists on May 11 to 18.

New artists alongside the familiar will welcome visitors as inspiring artists and craftspeople open their homes and studios in Fowey.

Artists are exhibiting and selling their work at the Royal British Legion, Mission to Seafarers, Harbour Hotel and at in St Johns’ Church.

There are 20 exhibitions in 10 locations around Fowey and Bodinnick.

The Trail, run in conjunction with Fowey Festival of Arts and Literature, started in 2015 and has become a popular annual event, with the magnificent estuary forming the perfect backdrop.

A more diverse range of work than ever is on display this year, as some artists have experimented away from their usual art forms. Works on show include paintings, drawings, ceramics, sculpture, photography, jewellery, textiles, and paper-cut art.

Students from The Fowey River Academy return again this year, exhibiting work inspired by marine scenes, seascapes and landscapes at the Mission to Seafarers.
