Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a serious road traffic collision in St Stephen on Saturday.

Officers were called to Trethosa Road at around 11.45pm after reports of a collision involving a silver Peugeot 307.

The 38-year-old male driver of the Peugeot sustained life-changing injuries and was taken to hospital.

An investigation was carried out at the scene and the road was reopened after three hours.

Officers from the Roads Policing Team would like to thank the public for their patience whilst the investigation took place.
