Police are appealing for information following the reported theft of two high value paintings in Penzance.

The artworks were allegedly taken from an empty but secure property in Morrab Road during the two-week period between February 1 and February 13. A number of people attended the property to carry out work during this timeframe.

Valued at around £6,000 each, the paintings are titled ‘Sunday Walkers, Hayle’ and ‘Autumn Days, Penlee Park’. Both were produced in oil on canvas and are sized around 70cm by 50cm.
