A young football academy player from Truro has scored for England.
Josiah Plummer, a football academy student at Truro and Penwith College, netted a goal at St George’s Park – home of the FA in Burton-on-Trent - after being selected for the England College Football Association.
Josiah hopes to score again when he plays Leicester in February – on his birthday – and he will play for England in the Roma Caput Mundi Tournament in football-loving Italy.
Josiah paid tribute to Truro College head coach Gary Pascoe for putting him forward for the England trials, and coaches Tamas Rajna and Fred Walter, for their contribution to his success.
