One of two giant Christmas light baubles placed on Tesco roundabout was blown into the road on Saturday and had to be secured to a nearby lamp post in Newham Road by a member of the public. Truro Rangers secured the second bauble, while Truro BID arranged for a suitable vehicle and cordon to be set up on the roundabout; the bauble was removed for safety purposes. Both decorations have gone into storage and should be back on the roundabout later this week. Truro BID manager Alun Jones praised Truro Rangers, Anti-Social Behaviour officer Steve Lennon, Truro City Council’s parks team and members of the public for “great collaborative teamwork”.
