CAMBORNE’S promotion charge from National League Two (West) resumes tomorrow when they welcome strugglers Bournville to the Recreation Ground (2.30pm).
The Cherry and Whites saw off battling Hinckley last Saturday in Leicestershire, a result which means they sit six points clear of second-placed Clifton in the battle for the sole promotion spot.
Bournville, known as the Choccos, make the trip down from Birmingham third bottom on 33 points, six behind Exeter University.
Camborne will start the game as undoubted favourites and having averaged over 40 points per outing, will hope to entertain their supporters once more, but have been pushed to their limits in recent weeks.
CAMBORNE v Bournville: Kyle Moyle, Harry Larkins, Will Hennessy, Josh Matavesi, Alex Ducker, Sam Walker, CJ Boyce; Jack Andrew, Ben Priddey, Sam Rodman, Adam Hughes, Jack Heazelton, Jordan Rose, Jordan Nicholls, Aden Brassington. Replacements: Tommy-Lee Southworth, Jon Drew, Chris Fuca, AJ King, Jack Davis.
Redruth have recovered from a slow start to soar up to fifth in the standings and are also at home as they welcome third-placed Cinderford (2pm).
The Forest of Dean outfit head to West Cornwall seven points clear of the Reds, but a home victory will see that lead whittled down further.
Redruth continued their unbeaten start to 2025 with an excellent 23-14 success in Herefordshire at Luctonians.
The Reds scored tries via Luke Barnes and Tommy Phillips while 13 points came via the boot of fly-half Dan Rutter.
From last week’s side, out go prop Tyler Gendall, flanker Barnaby Elderkin, scrum-half Will Rigelsford and winger Bobby Wigginton with Craig Williams, Connor Triggs, James Murray and Luke Johnson all starting.
Freddie Trewin, Finley Wolstencroft and Dean Wills all come into the matchday squad as they look to extend their record of just one defeat in nine league games.
REDRUTH: Nat Dart, Charlie Levick, Jack Simmons, Sam James, Luke Johnson, Dan Rutter, James Murray; Luke Barnes, Jarrod Hambly, Craig Williams, Luke Hattam, Ed Pascoe (capt), Connor Triggs, Jack King, Chris Rovery.
