Senior Ladies’ away trip to Budock Vean

THE Senior Ladies met at the Budock Vean Hotel and golf course on Thursday, October 31, for an overnight stay and two days of golf. It’s between Falmouth and the Helford River.

This mature parkland golf course was originally designed by James Braid whois credited with designing or redesigning over 250 courses in the British Isles alone.

He won The Open five times and his stamp is definitely there on this challenging 9/18-hole course.

What a fun and enjoyable time the 12 ladies’ had, with perfect weather for the 18-hole Stableford on the Thursday and nine holes on the Friday.

For the evening dinner everyone got into the spirit of Hallowe’en in various (some might say scary) disguises.

The whole event was deemed very successful and enjoyable.
