FOLLOWING an excellent sixth-placed finish on their return to National League rugby, Camborne have shown their determination to kick on next season with a trio of impressive new signings announced on Saturday, June 1.

Full-back Kyle Moyle has played over 150 times for the Cornish Pirates where he has been a constant attacking threat. Kyle is also no stranger to wearing the ‘Cherry and White’ having played for Gloucester more than 40 times in the Gallagher English Premiership.

Reflecting on Moyle’s signing, director of rugby Steve Larkins commented: "Having a quality player such as Kyle join Camborne is a great coup for us and he will add another dimension to our squad.”

To bolster their forward pack the Cherry and Whites have also announced the signing of the vastly experienced Jack Andrew for the forthcoming National League Two West campaign.

Andrew is a big, physical player, who has played over 200 Championship games for the Cornish Pirates.

"To have Jack join us is very exciting, and I am sure he will make a massive impact both on and off the field," added Larkins.

Camborne are also pleased to announce the signing of scrum-half CJ Boyce who steps up a level from Regional One South West side St Austell. 

Steve continued: “CJ has been a major player for the Saints over the last few seasons and he has also impressed playing for Cornwall in the County Championship.”

Boyce joins the squad of over 30 players including prolific try scorers Ben Priddey and Alex Ducker already confirmed for the upcoming season.
