Labour – Perran Moon

I was born and live in Redruth so Camborne, Redruth & Hayle is the only parliamentary constituency I’d ever represent. After 14 years, five Prime Ministers, seven Chancellors, a crashed economy and constant Conservative infighting, it’s time for change. Our communities have been badly let down. Mortgages and rents through the roof, food prices still rising, record high ambulance waiting times, record high hospital waiting lists, dental services in a state of collapse and sewage pumped into our rivers and seas on a seemingly daily basis.

But I’m deeply optimistic about the positive changes of a Labour government. In Camborne, Redruth & Hayle, we have huge opportunities with our tin, lithium, renewables and digital businesses, creating hundreds of high skilled, well-paid jobs. Labour governments built the NHS in 1948, rescued it in 1997 and we will lift it off its knees again. We’ll provide our youngsters with the skills they need, support working families and offer dignity and respect to our elderly folk.

I’m the son of a local doctor and nurse, a successful businessman and father of three young adults. If elected as your MP, I have the experience, skills and passion to deliver the change we desperately need.

Reform UK – Roger Tarrant

I was born in Redruth, grew up in Cornwall, brought my two sons up in the county. Cornwall runs through my veins and in my DNA, I am passionate about the place.

That is why I chose to stand for the Camborne, Redruth, and Hayle constituency, which is at the very heart of Cornwall.

A vote for me, Roger Tarrant, and Reform UK will send a seismic message to Westminster and all the politicians and legacy parties that essentially believe in the same thing.

Reform UK is in fact the only real alternative, to higher, and higher taxes, and in a cost-of-living crisis too. More and more wasteful spending, in a cost-of-living crisis that residence of this constituency are constantly telling me, is affecting their ability to make ends meet. Above all the Net Zero policies are making people poorer, and much, much colder.

If people feel less well off, that’s because they are, officially GDP per capita (per person) has reduced according to the ONS.

Reform UK policies can be found on our website and will have a positive effect on the standard of life of the citizens of not only this constituency, but the rest of the UK.
