CHURCH services inspired by women of the Cook Islands in the Pacific Ocean were held in St Austell as part of the World Day of Prayer 2025.
Two services were organised at Holy Trinity Church in the town centre.
A spokesperson for the events said: “We are grateful to have held the services in Holy Trinity Church. We had 50 people at our morning service and 27 in the evening one. It was so good to worship together as Christ’s body in St Austell.
“The World Day of Prayer this year was prepared by the Christian women of the Cook Islands and we were part of a wonderful wave of prayer encircling the globe, praying with and for the Cook Islands and its people.”
