A WOMAN was arrested after a man was assaulted in Newquay.
The man in his thirties sustained foot, hand and head injuries after he was allegedly attacked in Trenance Road on Monday, May 13, at around 10.30pm.
Emergency services attended the scene.
A woman in her forties from Newquay was subsequently arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm without intent.
A police spokesperson said: “Police were notified following reports of an assault on Trenance Road.
“A man in his 30s was taken to hospital with foot, hand and head injuries. Enquiries are ongoing.”
