POLICE are appealing for witnesses and information following a road traffic collision involving an electric bike near St Austell.
Emergency services were called to the A3058 at Lanjeth at around 10.40pm on Thursday, July 25.
A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson confirmed: “As a result of the collision a local man in his 30s was taken to Royal Cornwall Hospital with potentially life-changing injuries.”
Officers from Devon and Cornwall Roads Policing Team attended the incident and carried out a detailed investigation of the scene.
