Weather warnings have been issued for Cornwall as the first cold snap of winter strikes.
A yellow warning - the lowest level - for ice came into force overnight on Wednesday and into Thursday morning, with temperatures expected to be dipping below freezing in the early hours of Thursday.
The cold snap is set to continue through Thursday and Friday, with sleet showers forecast amid continuing cold temperatures on Saturday.
Lows of one or two degrees below freezing are expected during Thursday and Friday.
Temperatures are forecast to rise from Sunday.
The Met Office warns some disruption is likely due to icy surfaces and there may be some icy patches on untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths.
