Thousands of people descended on Fistral Beach to watch a fireworks display on Saturday night.

Fistral Beach Bar held its annual display, which was watched from various vantage points including Pentire Headland and Towan Headland.

The fireworks display was due to be held on November 4 but was postponed for safety reasons because of the rough weather.

A litter pick was held on the beach and surrounding footpaths on Sunday to remove firework debris, which could have been washed ashore from the incoming tide.
