PRE-application advice is being sought for two residential developments (PA24/00736/PREAPP).

Classic Builders (SW) Ltd is seeking a pre-application meeting and written advice regarding the building of up to 15 new homes on land opposite Goonbell House in Wheal Butson Road, St Agnes. These will include a percentage of affordable serviced self-build plots.

In Mabe Burnthouse, near Penryn, Lucy Vernon and David Boscawen are seeking pre-application advice for up to 30 houses, including affordable homes, on land adjacent to Melrose Church Road.

A planning statement says the proposal “would complement the local area and surrounding countryside” and “has been designed sympathetically within multifunctional green infrastructure and open space, as well as informal play and connections to the wider footpath network”.

Surface water drainage would be addressed primarily through a SUDS basin in the south-east corner of the site.
