TWO pedestrians in St Ives have reportedly sustained seriously injuries following a collision.
Police were called to reports of a collision between a grey BMW 1 series and two pedestrians on Trelyon Avenue on Tuesday, April 30, at around 7.45pm.
Both pedestrians, a man and woman, were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
One is described as life-threatening.
The driver of the car, a 45-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by driving without due care and attention.
He has been released on bail while enquiries are ongoing.
Trelyon Avenue was closed for approximately eight hours to allow forensic collision investigators to examine the scene and for recovery of the vehicle.
