TREVIGLAS Academy students have been celebrating their GCSE grades on Thursday.
Students achieved high grades across a broad range of subjects, including Drama, English, Further Maths, French, Spanish, History, Geography and physics. They opened their grade envelopes in front of proud parents and guardians at the college.
A significant number of students earned the prestigious grade 9, a distinction awarded to the top 2 per cent of students nationally.
Madeleine achieved eight grade 9s in maths, English Language, English Literature, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Drama and History. She also achieved a grade 8 in French. Rhys Simmonds achieved 229 out of a possible 240 marks in his maths exams, giving him the top Grade 9.
