CORNWALL Hospice Care hosted its first Sustainable Fashion Show on Friday at Truro Cathedral.
Volunteers and ward staff from the charity’s two hospices strutted their stuff on the catwalk before an audience of more than 400 people.
Pre-loved clothing from the rails of a network of 30 shops included a £500 Alexander Wang coat, with models also wearing complete outfits for £25 and under. The evening was hosted by Neil Caddy of Hits Radio Cornwall.
Cornwall Hospice Care shops save over a million donated items of clothing from landfill annually, and in the last financial year, made a profit that contributed £1.65-million to the cost of providing end-of-life care and bereavement services.
