A suspect wanted in connection with a police car being vandalised in Bodmin has handed themselves in.

The person has been interviewed by the police following the windscreen and wing mirror of a police car being damaged in Pool Street after a brick was thrown on Friday, February 3 at 7.10pm.

The police previously stated they had established who caused the damage due to CCTV footage and information from the community. Officers said they had even spoken to their mum.

A spokesman for Bodmin Police Station said: “The suspect for this offence handed himself in and has been interviewed about what happened.

“He has been reported for the offence and this will be dealt with by the courts in due course.”
