SUPPORTERS of Newquay RNLI are busy organising events to raise funds for the lifesaving charity.
A coffee morning will be held at the Hotel Victoria on Saturday, November 9 between 10am and 12 noon. There will be all the usual stalls including jigsaws, books, toys and bric-a-brac.
A spokesperson for Newquay RNLI said: “Why not pop along, meet new friends and have a chat with the team, while enjoying a delicious hot drink and a biscuit or two.”
The entry is £3, which includes refreshments.
Newquay RNLI’s annual Christmas Concert will be held at the Hotel Victoria on Thursday, December 12 at 7.30pm.
A spokesperson said: “We will be welcoming two choirs this year, Oll an Gwella, who have performed for us on many occasions and for the first time, St Mawgan Military Wives Choir will be joining in this festive concert.
“This should be a wonderful evening to get us all in the Christmas spirit.”
Entry is £5 per person and any donations of raffle prizes can be left in the RNLI shop at the harbour.
The RNLI gift shop will be open on Saturdays and Sundays only until Sunday, December 15 from 11am to 3pm for people to buy Christmas cards, calendars and gifts.
