POLICE were called to reports of a collision on the A3059 at St Columb Major at around 10.05pm on Saturday, March 16.

The collision involved a pedestrian and a black Nissan Note car.

A 50-year-old local male pedestrian was located at the scene with suspected serious injuries. He was taken to Treliske Hospital for treatment.

The driver of the car did not sustain any injuries.

Any witnesses who were not spoken to at the time and/or captured the collision on dash-cam that may assist with enquiries, are requested to contact Devon & Cornwall Police on 101 quoting log 929 of March 16.
