Comprising a former carpenter’s workshop and outbuildings, it has planning consent for a terrace of four town houses, each with three bedrooms and parking. Measuring 0.04 hectares (0.11 acres), the site is among 147 lots in the latest sale by Clive Emson Land and Property Auctioneers.

Auctioneer David Henwood said: “This is a freehold residential development site close to the town centre.

“We expect keen interest from developers who wish to build out the planning permission as well as bidders who may wish to continue use of the property in its current guise.”
