A service personnel at RAF St Mawgan is ‘flying high’ after winning a prestigious award.
Resource and engagement manager Tim Turner scooped the civil servant of the year trophy at the 2 Group awards dinner staged at Royal Air Force Northolt.
The accolade is awarded to the individual or team within the civil service cohort who has demonstrated exceptional commitment to serving the public interest and has made a positive impact on 2 Group activity.
RAF St Mawgan Station Commander Wing Commander Helen Simpson accompanied Mr Turner to the awards dinner.
Wg Cdr Simpson said: “This really is a phenomenal accolade and is so well deserved.
“Tim has excelled himself in this challenging role, consistently exceeding expectations and proactively developing opportunities for our civil servants to integrate even further with military colleagues across all aspects of station life.
