Schoolchildren have performed a special Christmas song to help people in need in Newquay.
Pupils and staff at Newquay Junior Academy, Newquay Primary Academy and Trenance Learning Academy have recorded ‘Only You’ at St Michael’s Church in aid of Newquay Food Bank.
A video of the special performance has been posted on YouTube and viewers are invited to make a donation.

Newquay Junior Academy headteacher Craig Hayes said: “We are excited to be able to share this year’s Christmas song, 'Only You' which is a collaboration with Newquay Primary Academy and Trenance Learning Academy.
“The recording is in support of Newquay Foodbank, which needs support to help local people in food crisis.
“We would appreciate donations of any size.
“We hope you enjoy the video. Please share with all of your family and friends and encourage as many people as possible to make a donation.
“We would like to thank the church wardens and church council for the support and use of St Michael’s Church.”
A spokesperson for Newquay Foodbank said: “The Newquay Foodbank seeks to be the source of hope to those who have fallen on hard times.
“Working with various agencies we directly support people who need our help now and work with them, and their supporting agency, to get them and their family back to financial stability.”
A spokesperson for Trenance Learning Academy added: “Team Trenance were thrilled to be invited to join Newquay Junior Academy and Newquay Primary Academy in their Christmas video this year.
“It was a wonderful Christmas event and lovely to see so many familiar faces.”
