Santa has been touring the streets of Newquay to bring some festive cheer.

Father Christmas has been towed in his sleigh with the help of his elves from Towan Blystra Lions Club.

Visits have included the switching on of the Christmas lights at St Newlyn East,  the Tretherras and Treloggan areas, St Columb Minor, the town centre and Tregunnel Hill as well as attending Nansledan’s Christmas lights switch-on.

Santa visited Newquay Football Club on Saturday, Morrisons Supermarket on Sunday and DISC in the Sandy Lodge Hotel at Hilgrove Road on Monday.

Santa’s tour will finish at The Goldings on Tuesday from 6pm.
