There’s been a change of plan with the route of Children’s Hospice South West’s Santas on a Bike fund-raiser on Saturday, December 3 in which bikers in Santa suits set off in convoy around Cornwall.

Organisers say unfortunately, they are not now going through St. Austell.

If anyone wants to see the bikers, they need to line the road into St Austell, the A390 / Holmbush Road, and Porthpean Road, which is the road up to CHSW’s hospice, Little Harbour.

The bikers won’t go through the town .

A spokesperson said: “We are slightly worried that people might turn out in St Austell wanting to see the bikers and be disappointed.

“No spectators are allowed into Little Harbour – there just isn’t the space.”
