A SUCCESSFUL salsa dance festival will ‘shimmy’ its way to Newquay for the third year running.

Dança Bonita SBK Festival, which aims to enrich the Cornish dance scene and bring tourism and recognition to the local area, will be held in the Beresford Hotel between May 16 and 19.

The famous beach party will be held on May 18.

Event organisers Hayley Newton and Jean Pryce said: “For many of our guests, this is their first visit to Cornwall, and many say they can’t wait to visit again.

“Local dancers get to experience top-class artists and dance partners, without having to leave the county. We get to showcase everything that Cornwall has to offer.”
