A WOMAN has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Truro.  

Police were called to reports of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian at around 8.05am this morning (Wednesday, February 28).  

The incident took place on Tresawls Road in the Truro area.  

The ambulance service also attended. A female pedestrian was taken to Treliske Hospital. 

A road closure remains in place.
