The A391 was closed at Lockengate, between St Austell and the A30 junction near Lanivet, early on Monday morning after a heavy goods vehicle left the road.

Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service crews helped the driver, who was uninjured, from his cab and then made the scene safe. The police were also at the scene.
