RESIDENTS showed their appreciation for the work a Newquay gardening group undertakes in the community by donating nearly £400.
Pentire Residents Association (PRA) presented a cheque for £397 to Newquay in Bloom Partnership, which was raised at its recent coffee morning held at the Lewinnick Lodge.
The group is particularly pleased with the enhancements the gardening group has carried out at the roundabout at the top of the Gannel link road.
A spokesperson for PRA said: “The coffee morning was very sociable and great fun.
“The Lewinnick Lodge provided the yummy cakes, coffee, and also an additional donation to the fund.
“Thank you to everyone in our wonderful community for their time and generosity.”
