CREATIVE residents living at Newquay’s urban expansion are putting the finishing touches to their new arts festival to help bring the community together.
The Nansledan Arts Festival will include creative writing, photography, art and craft workshops, spoken word events, talks, poetry and biodiversity trails, music, community picnic yarn bombing over the weekend of September 20 and 22.
The opening event will be a music evening at Shiva Café, which will feature local musicians.
The arts festival will also involve the creation of a giant fabric jigsaw with each piece completed by an individual.
