Residential roads have been closed in Newquay whilst firefighters tackle a roof blaze on Monday night.
Newquay Fire Station is using an aerial ladder platform to extinguish the fire at a property in Pargolla Road at about 5.30pm.
The fire service has closed Pargolla Road and the end of St Thomas’s Road while four fire crews attend the scene.
A fire spokesman said: "Pargolla Road and end of St Thomas’s Road currently closed while we deal with a roof fire.
"We are on scene at the minute with four appliances.
"There are four breathing apparatus in use with multiple hose reels and thermal imaging.
"We would like thank people for their patience whilst we deal with the incident."
