A PUB wall at St Columb Minor was demolished by a suspected hit and run driver, which left debris scattered across the road.
A vehicle reportedly ploughed into the wall at the Farmers Arms in Church Street on Tuesday, October 15, at 2am. Cornwall Council cleared the debris.
A spokesperson for the Farmers Arms said: “It is quite shocking as this is a quiet neighbourhood. We do not need this kind of nonsense.”
A police spokesperson said: “We were called following reports a vehicle had crashed into the wall of a building in Church Street, St Columb Minor in the early hours of Tuesday 15 October.
“Debris was covering the road. The caller was unable to give any vehicle details or description, so the matter was passed Highways and Cornwall Council to deal with the clear up as there was no viable lines of enquiry to trace the driver.”
