THE main post office in Newquay has certainly delivered for pupils in the town.

Newquay Post Office in East Street has donated more than £500 to DISC Newquay, which has been distributed to 35 schoolchildren towards new uniform

Staff raised the money through selling books and having collection tins in the post office.

Monique Collins, the manager at Newquay DISC, said: “We would like to say a massive thank you to our main Post Office who raised over £500 to donate in vouchers of £30 each. This has meant that 35 school children have benefited from this wonderful scheme.”
