Arson is suspected to have been the cause of a fire on scrubland at Carkeel, Saltash, on Saturday afternoon.
One Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service crew from Saltash was sent to deal with the fire.
The firefighters used a hosereel jet to put out the blaze.
Police are investigating.
