Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of a missing Newquay woman.

Tara Norveil, aged 52, was last seen leaving her address in Newquay and walking in the area of Pentire Avenue and Esplanade Road on Thursday, March 14.

It was believed that she was seen wearing a purple hat, however, this has since been clarified as the colour brown and officers cannot ascertain if she was wearing it when last seen.

Police officers have carried out house to house enquiries, witness appeals, aerial searches, searches on foot and CCTV enquiries.
