AN HGV driver was left stuck inside their vehicle after it was overturned on the A30 near Carland Cross.

Police were called at around 9.20pm on Wednesday, February 14 following reports of a lorry on its side.

A spokesperson from Devon and Cornwall Police explained: “The driver of the lorry was initially stuck in the vehicle but was able to get out and found to be uninjured. A temporary road closure was put in place.

“Recovery was arranged and police left the scene with Highways at around 10.45pm.”
