There has been plenty of laughs following the return of panto to Newquay.
Newquay Stage Company is staging Dick Whittington at St Michael’s Church Hall from Thursday, March 7 to Sunday, March 10 at 7.30pm.
There will also be matinee performances on Saturday and Sunday at 2.30pm.
A spokesperson for Newquay Stage Company said: “Last night saw the opening night of our 2024 Panto, Dick Whittington, and what a start.
“With an almost full house, the cast were treated to raucous applause, cheers and boos and to finally hear the jokes we’ve be listening to for the past 6 months come to life.
“We can’t wait to do it all again tonight, tomorrow and Sunday.
“There are still tickets left for the evening shows, but very few for the matinees.
“There may be some tickets available on the door which you can reserve by messaging us via Facebook
“We are thrilled to be bringing Pantomime back to the heart of Newquay for the third year in a row.
“Come and find out, and enjoy a pantomime filled with lots of singing, dancing and lots of laughter perfect for all the family.
“There will be some recurring faces from other Newquay Stage Company shows such as Francesca Trebilcock who is hot off winning CDA Awards for her performance as Eliza in My fair Lady. T
“This show will bring you familiar songs, hilarious cast, many innuendos for the parents and lots of chance to shout those famous panto words for the kids.
